How many band members are there and what are their stances in the band?
Mike - Vocals, guitar
Chris - Drums, all things tech
Dave - Bass guitar, backing vox
Steve - Guitar, Keyboards
What are band practices like? Do you have a set time each week?
Depending on our gig schedule, usually most Friday nights.
What has been your biggest challenge as a band?
Removing the "tribute band" stigma from what we do. Disorder is definitely a tribute to one of the greatest post punk bands ever, but we definitely do not pretend to be Joy Division when we play out. There's no Ian Curtis dancing, or costumes worn. Disorder is a post punk band who plays Joy Division music as accurately as possible, that's pretty much it. We do this for two reasons only, we love the music and we love to see others enjoying the experience of live Joy Division music.
If you guys could play at any venue anywhere, where would it be?
Apollo Theater in Manchester UK
Do you have a Motto for the band? Or a superstition?
Our motto, don't ever try and fix what isn't broken. Play the music the way it was originally intended. Put in the time and effort to make sure it's right.
